If you use the iron frequently, white spots will eventually form on the iron Iron Base of your iron. And when that happens, it’s time for a deep clean! But how can you really clean your iron?
1.Newspaper
All you need for this first method is newspaper and oven mitts! That sounds like something anyone could try. First, plug the iron into an outlet and turn it on.

4. Acetone
The last one was really amazing. Nail polish remover can be used to clean the iron. First, you need to turn the iron back on.
Once it’s warmed up, you’ll need a few cotton balls to dip in the nail polish remover. Definitely use pot holders again! Now you can clean the iron with the cotton ball. All white spots disappear. it will disappear and your iron will be completely clean again.
5.Use a cotton swab to smooth the steam holes steam

6. Soak a towel in vinegar

7. Pour vinegar into the water tank
If you have a steam iron, you can also clean the iron’s air vents by filling the water tank halfway with a mixture of distilled white vinegar and water.Next, take an vintage rag or towel, iron it and steam it.When steaming, the leftovers will come out of the openings along with the vinegar.
